Another release by my good friend Handwrist. I wouldn't call it "super melodic" in the purest sense of the term but there's something about progressive rock that makes it always interesting to listen to. The first track, "into the grey and pink" (What? No caps!), has all the ingredients of old school prog rock with the over-the-top organ that wouldn't be out of place in a traveling circus. I was kinda looking for the guitar work Handwrist is famous for though. Maybe I have to be patient. Hmm, I can hear some bass in the second track and it doesn't take long for the electrified ax to make itself heard, in a soft psychedelic sort of a way. I guess I could go on dissecting the tracks but I won't, mainly because nobody really cares and secondly because it's too much work. Just listen to the album, ok?

Balloons by Ryan Stunkel
Pretty cool album where the focus is on the melodies, not on the boom-boom fluff.

Cosmic House-Warming Party by Cristina Lord
Interesting little album. Lots of notes for some pretty nifty melodies. Track 3, "Tardigrades in Space", sounds very familiar though.

The Return South by The Return South
I would summarize this album as a nice piece of thoughtful post-rock. It's really nice.

A Vibe to the Perplexed by Handwrist
This is the latest release from my Portuguese buddy Rui aka Handwrist, the one-man band from Lisbon. It's rich in sounds and complex melodies. Voice is not bad either. If you're into progressive/post rock, you will certainly like this album as much as I do.

The Single EP by Martignetti
Here's some nu-disco for you! In small doses (this EP has 4 tracks), I think it's totally fine.
My Pet Cloud by Josh Zimmerman
Be aware that some of the tracks have square waves, so if you're allergic to chiptunes, this album might not be your cup of tea. I don't mind chiptune sounds as long as it's not the main focus, which is what is happening here.
Buddhalicious 2014 by Synthetic Zen
Hmm, can't say I was too inspired by the album cover but I am glad I went ahead and actually listen to the tracks. It's a bit all over the place but it's strong melodically (That word probably doesn't exist!) wise. There's some cheesy stuff but, all in all, not bad.

The Orchestra Within by EiN
Some pretty cool tracks in there. I invite you to listen to the whole thing since, as Stefan would say, it has got everything: slow melancholic stuff and fast upbeat stuff.
Crab Sir Mojo by Jacob Morris
Nice little assemblage of melodic tunes. Fave track: "Ratchet Dirge", it's super downtempo and has some real nice melodic motifs. The two following ones are pretty cool too. Come to think of it, I really like the slowest tracks on this album.

The Expansion Pack by Dream Theory
Cool electronic album! It has that game music vibe but don't you worry, it's not chiptune, well, not too much ("The Plot Thickens"is very chiptunesque.) The only thing that bothers me a little is that track 2 sounds very similar to track 1.

Felix Product III by Felix Product
Best electronic album I've heard in a while and I listen to a whole lot of stuff. Then again, I may have strange tastes.

Alpha EP by Wyld Wyvern
Cool album by a young Scottish lad. It's a bit on the chiptune side but not so much that it gets annoying after a few tracks. There are some really good melodies in there, and that's why it gets the nod on "Super Melodic Tracks".

Shipwrecked by Superfluous Motor
I like those albums with some kind of a theme, even though this one is all instrumental. There is a bit of everything in there from fusion to progressive rock (including Latin rhythms, psychedelic and funk). It's good stuff!

Everything Under The Sky by Flora
This a nice little album (only four tracks) filled with drum/guitar instrumentals of the highest quality production and composition wise. It's like intelligent easy listening.

Long Legs Is Coming, Everybody Hide! by Rival Tag
Here's a good example of thoughtful, original, melodic electronic music. Listen to it and let me know what you think!

The Tarnish from Men's Souls by The Southern Sun
Very cool laid back instrumental music to listen to.
